“I got you a drink,” he whispers, low and breathy. “Are you going to hold up your end of the bargain?”
“Yeah.” Taehyung’s tongue darts out, wetting his lips. “Remind me what my end of the bargain is again?”
“I get you a drink, and you tell me what you want me to do to you.”
He initiates it this time, taking a step forward and pressing himself into Taehyung’s hand on his chest. Though the model doesn’t stumble, he does take a step back, finding himself pressed against the bar.
They should move. The should get out of the way so other patrons can order, but right now, he finds he doesn’t really care. Not when Taehyung looks at him like he wants to be put in his place, and Jungkook has a feeling that he does.
OR
Jungkook loses his beloved jacket after a night out, and he searches high and low for it, absolutely heartbroken. Out of nowhere, an unknown number starts texting him taunting photos of himself in it, and Jungkook falls into a dangerous game with the stranger. He finds himself enthralled on a relentless chase, not realizing that he is chasing supermodel Kim Taehyung, who just so happens to be his match, equally as relentless in his own pursuit.

“Hyung, run me through that again, please,” he said once he’s certain that his emotions were under control. “You’re telling me that you want to send your candy cane sugar bop K-pop idol here, to stay, with me, in my house, for an indefinite amount of time,” he stressed, using air quotes even if his brother couldn't see him, “so he can rest and regroup? The fuck do you think my house is? Some sort of retreat center for the lost and weary?”

“Yeah,” Taehyung sighs, “that would be accurate.”
Nayoung inhales deeply and closes her eyes. She lets out a long breath.
“Are you going to see him again?”
“Well…” Taehyung’s heart sinks with the realization as he says it out loud, “I didn’t get his number or anything… and…”
“...he’s fucking Jeon Jeongguk,” sighs Nayoung.

“We should make a bet,” Jungkook suggests. Taehyung needs something to motivate him. “Something to keep this interesting.”
“I don’t love this, but what are you thinking?”
“I bet you can’t run this 5K in under thirty minutes.”
“What?” Taehyung almost comes to a halt, surprised by the call out. “I thought you said that I could before we started.”
“What better way to prove me wrong than with a bet?” Jungkook challenges, smirking at Taehyung.
He doesn’t know this man very well. At all, really. But he can see the way his eyes shift into something serious as he contemplates the challenge.
“Okay, let’s say that I take this bet, what’s in it for me?”
“I’ll let you decide,” Jungkook says.
OR:
Jeon Jungkook accepts a job assignment abroad, finding himself navigating the trials that come with a foreign country. It’s everything he expects it to be, but the one thing he doesn’t expect is to meet Kim Taehyung, the charming, easy-going, mischievous, and breathtaking veterinarian, who is more than willing to take Jungkook on a journey he never saw coming.
