Summary
"It makes sense in a way," Wooyoung began slowly, cocking his head as he took him in, head to toe. "I think I manifested this."
San's hands came up in front of him, stopping mid motion of straggling a pretty phantom neck. "The fuck are you on about?"
Wooyoung smiled serenely. "You know when I was a teenager I spent a lot of time wishing for vampires and werewolves to be real—big fan as I said. The grimoire I found on ebay said nothing about this time delay in the spell's effectiveness though…" He trailed off at the end, appearing to consider this seriously, perhaps contemplating whether he should write the seller a belated review and torment them instead.
San was genuinely baffled, lingering fury subdued as he processed all of that. "You…you bought some kind of fake hocus pocus book of ebay?!"
Or:
Vampire Choi San's existence spans hundreds of years and he will still claim with absolute confidence that Jung Wooyoung is the most batshit crazy, annoying, high maintenance person he has ever met. Literally the last person on earth he would want to have as a companion on a road trip to Japan. Unfortunately, that is exactly what has to happen for San to get his peaceful eternity back.

Summary
When Wooyoung wakes up that morning, he feels… weird. He’s not certain how to describe it. He’s incredibly warm, that’s for sure. San’s body is warm beneath him, and it feels distinctly different to when he normally wakes up. He can feel soft, warm puffs of breath against his neck, and fights back a shiver, brow furrowing as his lips twist down into a frown, fighting the urge to pull his legs and arms closer to his body.
Hold on.

Summary
“Who-” San starts. “Where’s Hala? Who are you? What did you do to him?” The young man looks alarmed at the sudden onslaught of questions.
“I-” His voice is gravelly and rough, before he coughs, as if trying to clear his throat. “That’s me.” San stares at him. The young man stares back, chewing on the inside of his cheek. His voice is hoarse, as if he hasn’t used it in a long time.
“What?” San blinks. That’s impossible. There’s no way that this man and Hala the fox were the same.

San discovers an injured fox one day in a rainstorm, and decides to bring him home to take care of him. He's startled to find how quickly he gets attached to it.

Summary
The river’s current shifts and flows around Wooyoung, thickening into watery tendrils that coil around his limbs, his torso, his neck. Swallowing him up utterly. Too weak to fight the river’s forceful grasp.
Above, the diamonds of light fade away.
Cold. Nothing but the cold.
Sinking. He’s sinking.
…Is he? The lack of oxygen is muddling up Wooyoung’s head, getting him all turned around. He could swear he should have reached the bottom long ago.
He could swear he is sinking upward.
(or: Wooyoung finds safety on a mountain after a near drowning changes him forever. Time will tell if he can ever forgive the river.)
