Summary
Neil’s head rests delicately on the pillow, lips lightly parted and skin a shade paler than before, with his fringe fanned over his forehead gently just like it was all those mornings that Todd would find him passed out after a night spent rehearsing. Under it, however, bandages wrap firmly around his forehead. On the right side, just poking out from under them, he spots a patch of Neil’s hair, or rather, lack thereof. Blood soaks the surrounding bandages, a dark but present red.
“God, Neil,” Todd’s voice quakes with tears and he can barely stumble to the side of Neil’s bed before he collapses onto his knees. He can’t help the sobs that rack his body when he stares up at Neil’s face. Is this what he would look like if he were dead?
Carefully despite his shaking, Todd rests his head against Neil’s outstretched arm.

Neil missed, and now Todd has to wait for him to wake up all whilst dealing with the aftermath of his attempt and struggling to accept his own feelings. But what if Neil was never truly asleep?

When Chase comes to the undeniable fact that he was starting to fall for Buddy he decides to take some time to himself. However, Deacon has other plans and introducing him to the idea of doing the Sleeping beauty book. However it all goes a bit wrong when Chase accidently falls under the real curse where only a true loves kiss can wake him.

Summary
After Beth and Dale accidentally find out that Chase is trans, every visit to his mother is absolute hell. Having to listen to their hurtful comments for more than three years now, there are days when Chase just wants to crawl into a hole and die. Luckily for him, there's a certain someone he can always count on to treat him like a man. A bratty, idiotic man, but a man nonetheless.
Chase can't help but wonder though, what would Buddy think if he knew the truth? Better not to let that happen.

Summary
It is the end of a retelling of The Little Mermaid, and Chase still needs his "true love's kiss" to get his voice back. However, the wedding with princey doesn't go to plan when a giant storm attacks the ship... distracting Chase with a certain, obnoxious someone who gets swept overboard and requires saving.
And also maybe mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

“Stay awake for me. Just a little longer,” Buddy whispers in that way that makes Chase want to actually listen.
“Buddy,” Chase mumbles, lips barely moving, drifting again, body melting further into him.
“Yes, angel?” Buddy says softly, the word slipping from his tongue mindlessly. He brushes a strand of golden hair behind Chase’s ear as he presses another kiss to his temple.
Chase stills, eyes fluttering open just a little. Honey-brown meets blue in the dim quiet, and Chase blinks slowly as if he isn’t sure he heard right. His lips part, a soft smile tugging at them, smaller than usual but still just as bright somehow.
He sounds almost reverent when he repeats, “Angel?”
