Tobios life has always sucked.
It’s sucked when he was born, and his mum, meek as ever and constantly high, refused to protect his half brother, Kentarou, from his father.
It sucked when his father drunkly cornered him and groped him as punishment for telling him to leave the blond boy alone.
It sucked when Oikawa violently lunged at him, with such vicious hatred in his eyes. He just wanted someone to take care of him. He guessed it was his fault. No one wanted to put up with him.
It sucked when his dad tied him to the bed post after he tried to escape with Kentarou in tow.
It sucked when his mum blew marijuana smoke in his face as she sat with him, offering him strange coloured pills, promising his dad couldn’t hurt him if he took them.
It sucked when his dad killed his mum. She may have been a terrible mother, but he still loved her. It got marginally better when he also shot himself.
It sucked again though when the brothers shared room erupted in flames, almost killing the two of them.
And it sucked now.
