“…I’ve never made one,” Viktor said aloud then, almost as an afterthought.
Jayce blinked. He looked up fully, caught off guard. “What?”
“I’ve never made one,” Viktor repeated. “A fort,” he clarified a second later. “Blanket or otherwise.”
“There were…other priorities.” Viktor’s gaze wandered around the dim, lifeless interior of the lab as he continued. “We didn’t have many blankets to spare. And then I grew up. Too quickly, maybe.” Viktor turned to Jayce fully then, and for the first time since he’d spoken, met his eyes. “I always thought it was a lovely idea, though.” His voice dropped, quiet but sure as he held his gaze. “You could make one now, if you wanted.”

When a winter storm blows through Piltover, the founders of Hextech are stuck in their lab, unable to focus on work. One aches from the cold, the other trying to keep the chill at bay. A much needed break turns into a soft conversation, and the conversation finds itself wandering through what should have been simpler times in a heartless world. But at least, for once, the world can't find them here. Just for today.

Summary
Jayce Talis has had a meteoric rise from B-list TV actor to Oscar nominee, a result of constant work and dedication to his craft. It should be the stepping stone to bigger and better projects.
Yet, when he receives a letter from his old writing partner after seven years of zero contact, he drops everything to fly to New York and work with him again, this time on the stage. New conflicts rise amongst old tensions, but Jayce knows that in the end, making art with Viktor is worth all the heartache. Right?

Years later, Jayce helps a little boy find his dad at a market, being face to face with Viktor again for the first time in five years.
