The first revelation came on a Tuesday afternoon.
Wally West was pacing around the bedroom of his boyfriend’s Blüdhaven apartment, face scrunched in thought. None of his research had prepared him for the sight in front of him—or rather, what wasn’t in front of him.
Because, evidently, Dick Grayson didn’t nest.

He was feeling decent, all things considered. Was Wally hallucinating? Was this some sort of PTSD-induced-dream? But Wally didn’t remember his parents, he was so young when they died. What’s-
“My Pops is still inside! He hasn’t come out yet, my Pops is still there!” He cried desperately, trying to get him up and moving.
“Oh.” Hal’s eyes widened in realization.

OR: After a rogue attack, a 10-year-old Wally tells Green Lantern to go back and save Hal. Identity reveal ensues in the most h/c way possible.

Not even the League could have this piss poor attempt at an invasion, because not even two minutes after Barry and Bruce slink after J’onn onto the ship, there’s a sharp gust of wind behind Hal, an abrupt stop, the light pittering of a very familiar energetic foot and — Hal breathes in, closes his eyes and thinks, hysterically, For fucks sake.
”Wally,” Hal begins very carefully, constructing a dome around them as more robots rush at them, clawing and scraping and trying to blast their ways through the barrier. “Do not tell me you and the other Teen Titans are on scene right now.”
”Uh, not all of us? Garth is a little late.”
Very slowly, dragging his feet, Hal turns around to see Wally in full Kid Flash costume, wild curls wind-swept, a half-anxious, shit-eating grin that Hal has seen one too many times on Iris’ face.
(Or, Day Three of Halbarry Week: World’s Best Uncle. There’s an invasion, the Titans showing up when they’re not supposed to and Barry and Hal somehow deal with the most stubborn nephew. Hey, at-least there’s ice cream in the end.)
