Nyran starts working as Dukat's secretary, ends up his bride, while her friendship with Damar blooms and solidifies. After the failed DS9 takeover Nyran becomes secretary to the new top dog: Legate Damar. He's fumbling in the new role and she keeps him sane through it, and somewhere along the way they fall in love - but he's married (nooo!). Slowly drifting towards the great Cardassian rebellion, Nyran decides to not wait around and moves onto another man - or so she thinks, until she ends up following Damar in to the hot, dark, crowded caves on Rondac IV without second thought...
