Take a hypothetical: The King of Sindria, almighty holder of seven Djinn equips, sets his sights on the exiled Prince of Balbaad. Odd, flattering, even, but a non-issue all things considered. Now consider that Sinbad wants to express his immense feelings (sexually harass). He does this in mere fractions of a second, genuinely faster than lightning, so that all except for the victim are unaware of what just occurred. Then, the King would finish it by denying he’d ever done anything at all when the Prince asks.
Alibaba was never worried about such a hypothetical. He should have been. -

And with his voice gone, he could only dread what would go next, what he would be too cowardly to hold on for, next. And the months passed like that, while everything slipped away from him, and it seemed as though he was the only one holding on for any of them. Parents, friends, his school...
Until, on his first day at Shujin Academy, he accidentally wandered into a red subway. And there, he saw that someone had gone back to that courtroom to retrieve his voice. That someone was gorgeous. That someone wielded a brilliant blue light.
That someone brought splashes of color back to Akira’s cheeks.

‘I’ve found him.’
This detective passed through the tables, and his other hand reached under his waistcoat for his pistol. The piano sang with loud unabashed chords as the melody swung lower and harder, in rhythm with the detective’s fast beating heart.
Finally approaching, gun in his grip, he stood right behind this figure.
Goro Akechi grabbed this figure’s shoulder and slammed him against the table.
“You’re under arrest…!” He dropped his gaze to find that the figure’s nose was too short, and their eyes too lawful to be that man’s.
His head bolted from the table to search the room.
‘Shit!’
The singer smiled, snapping in time with the spunky swings of the trumpet. Goro raced to the middle of the room, searching every corner for that man.
The world was spinning, the tophat of the drums clicked constantly, tauntingly even. The singer came in, a fire in her voice as she swung her hips this and that way. Goro clenched his teeth, and then he registered a lyric.
“Before you can find me, I’m gone…” she sang.
Goro whipped his head around.
Standing by the door, fixing his long black coat and mask in place, was Joker.
The moment they made eye contact, he winked. -

'“L-Like what y-you see?” Kazuha stuttered.
His words bounced several times over in the resonant cave.
He was pretty sure there was also a voice crack somewhere in there.
The shorter’s eyes slowly climbed back up to meet Kazuha’s own, and he was sure he’d made a bad call when he saw how the other’s features were twisted up in disgust.
“You’re…You are going to die, I- “ The indigo haired man said, keeping his dagger against Kazuha’s throat as took a deep breath. After some mental gymnastics, he waved the questions and scolds away and turned back with that look to Kazuha. That look, even in the short time they’d known each other, was starting to entice Kazuha.'

But countless run-in's with Vision Hunt Decree enforcers and the mysterious (unfairly beautiful) Indigo Haired Man, make even getting to Watatsumi Island an entire ordeal. -
