I don't really know how to tag this properly. It's based on 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, but it's in the Everquest world. Christmas is Frostfell, and the POV is from a Dark Elf man and Santug Claugg is visiting his house. Er, hut. I know the apostrophe is in the wrong place in the first line. That's intentional because Dark Elf names are like that, which are also sort of like Vulcan names. Hm. So, T'was is the way I meant to write it.
I started writing this in like 2009 and forgot about it. Moved house. And found it again in 2015 when cleaning out my old external hard drive. I decided to finish it in 2015 but never posted it anywhere except a P99 group on facebook. So, I'm adding it to my small fanfiction portfolio today.

Summary
**This IS a Garashir fic (with a twist).** Ziyal was never killed and is alive to greet Garak upon his return. Things take a different path. For the sake of this story, Ziyal is 35 years old. Julian and Garak continue to have their lunches and information about Garak's relationship with Ziyal becomes apparent. Perhaps Garak divulges a bit too much and Julian isn't sure what to do. (I can't tell you everything up front. Where's the fun in that?)
