oh my god this is genuinely a piece of writing that belongs in like top books ever i’ve loved this book from beginning to end and im actually genuinely so upset that it’s over and i’ll never be able to read it for the first time again 😭😭 i will probably be rereading this every few months for the rest of my life it means genuinely so much to me i adore it i can’t believe it’s overrrrrr :(((

Summary
Vox is a silent movie star struggling to transition into ‘talkies’ after the massive success of The Jazz Singer. To remedy this, his producer hires an aspiring radio singer, Mr. Alastor Hartfelt, as a vocal instructor. Immediately smitten by Mr. Hartfelt, but completely doomed, Vox tries a new nightclub where he meets a beautiful woman, Alice Starhart, known for her beautiful singing voice, red coat and tight buttons. By some cosmic joke, Alastor and Alice tell him they are brother and sister. Vox finds himself in a love triangle with the brother and sister pair, completely torn between his feelings for them.
Only to find out…they might be closer than brother and sister.

Summary
In the spring of 1944, the 104th Medical Battalion of the United States Army is disbanded, and its men reassigned to various infantry companies in preparation for their invasion of occupied France. For First Lieutenant Novak, this is less than helpful, as he has so far met his platoon’s designated medic a grand total of twice, and has both times found Sergeant Winchester to be the optimum combination of reckless, arrogant, and downright insufferable so as to make cohesive platoon function near impossible. When the time comes to move out, however, Castiel has to reconcile himself to the fact that men are going to go down and trust that Dean Winchester may well be the only person who can put them back together again. holy FUCK i finished it i’ve literally been reading this fic for A YEAR and now it’s all gone. it’s all done. it was literally a literary masterpiece to be remembered for centuries and put in museums for history nerds to observe it was so fuckitn good oh my fuck like literally i had straight bordering homophobic friends wanting to read this fucking fic because it was so absolutely AMAZING they didn’t want to be left out
thank you so much komodobits for blessing us with this work of absolute art, that took literally five years of pure unadulterated talent and passion i thoroughly enjoyed reading it and most definitely have spent probably hours crying into my pillow because of it ❤️
