He swayed with the heavy wind buffeting the Liyue cliffside. Another storm was coming, if the thick smell of humidity and the rolling clouds in the direction of Inazuma were anything to go by.
Guyun stone forest lay before him, a thousand years of harsh winds and acidic rains weathering the ancient stone pillars into rounded mounds. Water levels rising continuously had also done their part in drowning the remnants of an age so far gone even the people of the current time would likely fail to recall it in records.
‘People of the current time’.

Summary
In the morning, the mercenaries wake her up as they stop outside Sumeru City to finalize their sale. Furina brushes herself off and gets out, walking to the entrance like she’s in a dream. She actually made it. The city is wrapped around an enormous tree like a vine. She’s never seen anything like it.
“Wow,” Furina says to herself. She’d be remiss to say her eyes weren’t a bit misty. “I’m actually here.”
“Move it,” one of the mercenaries says.
“You’re blocking the way,” adds another.
“Oh. Sorry.”
After the prophecy is fulfilled, Furina is sure of three things: she's aimless, lonely, and bad at making macaroni. So when Neuvillette asks her to personally deliver his letters to the Archons of nearby nations, she doesn't have any reason to decline.
It turns out that the world outside of Fontaine is a lot less forgiving. Furina will need some help if she hopes to make it back home unscathed.

Summary
A year after the flood, Furina was slowly healing from the wounds. Everything looked bright until she just happened to get sent eight years into the past. It would be seven years before the prophesied flood, and Furina wasn't sure if she had the mental capacity to deal with the prophecy again.
At least she had her vision with her.
Also, there's this voice in her head that sounded familiar.

Summary
Furina stares up at the ceiling of her new apartment and thinks about dying.
Oh, don’t make that face, dearest reader of this tale! Never fear! This situation is not so dire! One must simply consider the current condition of our darling main character. Centuries of rising action led up to a climactic trial that, if you are being generous in your pacing, lasted barely an hour. This seemingly endless tale is now falling towards a foreseeable resolution ( which will take place in, and let me be very clear, the next seventy to eighty years and no sooner).
As such, allow our heroine, then, to ponder the shape of that resolution, the length of that fall. What would be the most fitting conclusion to this - the Epic of Focalors?
Or: Furina, after the end (and a little bit that's in the middle)
Alternatively: How do you become a person after hundreds of years of being a character?

Summary
Furina de Fontaine holds the sword up to match her surprised opponent’s stance; judging by the bewildered expressions all around, this is not an outcome they anticipated.
Good, she is nothing if not amazing at destroying other people’s script and rewriting her own lines.
Her champion’s serious expression falters for a moment into one of worry; a less observant person would have missed it. The two outlanders behind her each gasp with surprise, and even her oh so dear Iudex is speechless at her choice of action.
“I accept your challenge; it shall be the most grandiose duel of all times!”

Truly, truly, truly a wonderful story, hits all the right spots, it gets a bit unhinged bit farther in but even then it feels so natural and right, and everything else is even better.
Probably the best furina fic I have ever read.
10/10 would recommend.
