I remember this story from back when it was posted to cpsg (?) and very much liked it. Mort was a writer whom I would always read, though at times the angst was too intense for me. I look forward to reading this again, and looking for more Mort stories in the TPDorm dB here. Glad I jumped to the last page of C/P works, or I would never have re-found Mort or other early writers I've forgotten about :).
.After a try at reading... Well, the formatting went completely to heck after the first scene. Giant blocks of text, no idea why it fell apart upon moving to A03. Mort never was a person who didn't know how to form paragraphs, much less dialog. Unsure if I have the energy to fix it for my own reading.

This was a Young Royals story, that the writer was going to continue. Wish I had noted her pseudo. Can't find her work, at all, and given that she was expressing insecurity over her writing skills I'm afraid that she decided to remove her work from AO3. Leaving this marker, here, for me in case I do remember her name or find her again in the Young Royals list. Her writing had truly lovely moments in this particular piece. Did the characters justice. I gave her FB re: same.

Summary
