Summary
Harry and Draco grew up together, an inseparable pair of best friends since infancy. Drawn to one another upon their first meeting and putting up fights ever since.
Now, Harry no longer has the memories of their time together. For him, life has always been his dad, quidditch, and Hedwig. He can’t remember much else of significance. Upon entering his first year, he struggles to understand why Draco Malfoy is suddenly all he can think about.
Draco finds it hard to cope with the absence of Harry in his life and the burden of their shared childhood left behind. Oh and by the way, he doesn’t know that Harry doesn’t remember. Not for a while, at least.

Summary
“I was thinking back to how things were.” Before the reveal, Kafka doesn't say. Doesn't need to. “I kind of miss those times.”
“Oh, boy. Reminiscing already, are we? That's just too sweet,” Hoshina teases. Footsteps soften, mouth cradling a pensive smile. “I'll admit though - they're some pretty good memories. Let them guide you forward.”
The words break gently over Kafka, a wave worth chasing along the shoreline as it retreats. And there it is. Tangible proof of everything rattling his chest. Tugging him deeper.
“And who knows. If you're lucky, you'll get to make more.”
“Yeah,” Kafka manages weakly, words slipping off his tongue too fast. “I like the sound of that.”
“Well-” Hoshina pivots on his heels, paving the way once more. The mirth and mystery in his voice lingers. “Best keep your eyes peeled. Sometimes, the best things slip by. If you’re not careful, you could miss them…”
It makes Kafka believe he's already brave, on the verge of his becoming.
