Dazai Osamu was the youngest police superintendent in Yokohama's history, and quite nearly the youngest in all of Japan. He reached his post in no small part due to his hard stance against the Port Mafia and his aptitude in rooting out mafia plans. However, his relationship with the Port Mafia was a little more complicated than it appeared from the outside looking in.
