Summary
“Good luck, Chief,” Cleo says under her breath as she passes by him.
JJ knows he’s going to need it. Kiara’s eyes are blown out as she takes in all the bags around him, recognition setting in and a furrow to her brow that feels like a warning. When she lifts her eyes, she hits him with a look that makes him wish that he had stayed behind to get caught by Mike and Anna.
Or, I can’t stop writing about a teddy bear that doesn’t exist.

Summary
While it’s all Kiara can do to stand in the middle of his room and not collapse, JJ seems to be feeling the exact opposite. He’s speaking like his brain is going a million miles per hour, like the adrenaline is still growing exponentially in his body.
Kiara doesn’t answer his question. Instead, she points to his dresser. The drawers are mostly open, sweats and cargo shorts and pajama pants spilling onto the floor.
“Can I borrow a shirt?”
Or, JJ breaks Kiara out of Kitty Hawk and they spend the night at the Maybank House.

Relief momentarily takes his breath away, stopping his heart and restarting it again at a stuttering speed. He suddenly feels a little unsteady on his feet. “She’s still here.”
Mike studies JJ’s face with an expression that’s impossible to read. He nods once. “For now, at least.”
Something tightens around JJ’s throat as he feels his fists clenching at his side, not fully trusting himself to speak yet. Mike is still watching him with those dark, steady eyes. “Did you think we’d take her without saying goodbye?”
The response leaves his mouth before he even has a chance to think. “Yes.”
Mike laughs once, loud and empty. “Same way y’all did, I guess.”
or: When the Maybank kid shows up in the middle of the night, begging for Kiara to stay in the Kildare, all Mike can think about is how much he reminds him of himself.

Summary
Finally, Abby gets around to bustling Clarke out the door, and Clarke ends up accidently making awkward eye contact with Octavia’s brother. The amused look falls off his face instantly, like she’s socked him in the gut. Then she’s being pulled down the hall, wondering why on earth Bellamy Blake is looking at her like she’d just pulled the world out from under his feet.
Or, Clarke gets in a fight with Octavia and winds up with more than detention.

“I wish I was dead,” Clarke admits then. She’s been afraid to say it aloud because it would make it real, but she’s alone and she’s tired, and she wants to die. “I wish that radiation killed me, burnt me to the bone and turned me into ash.”
She pauses then, fingers still on the radio as she touches her stomach faintly. “But then I think of this baby, of this miracle that survived Praimfaya, that survived the end of the world. I think of our child, Bellamy and… I just want to live for our child, that’s all I want.”

The wrench in his hand goes skittering sideways at the sound of her quiet voice behind him, thudding into the dirt. When he turns and finds her standing at the edge of the driveway, his heart can’t help that familiar fluttering as he watches her draw closer – long tanned legs, a John B-esque shirt buttoned over some stupidly small thing that barely classifies as a top. Relief sings through his veins as he stares at her, all in one glorious piece.
He's paralyzed, remembering the way she’d run to him on the dock and thrown herself into his arms. The way he’d refused to let her out of his sight until he was forced to, their hands laced tightly together until her parents had led her away. He tries and fails to force his racing heart to calm down.
“Sup,” he manages, his greedy eyes taking her in.

It’s been three days and he’s already gotten you into two different dangerous situations. You had a gun pointed at you, Lucy.”
“I have guns pointed at me a lot, Tim,” she says, and she just sounds tired now. “You had no right to go to Grey behind my back to try and get Wendell reassigned.”
“Maybe not,” Tim admits. “But at least I’m trying to do what’s best for our family, even if you aren’t.”
He leaves, slamming the door behind him.

She remembered the first day he came into her flower shop—the handsome man with sad eyes who had an affection for dahlias. And how she noticed that as his eyes zeroed in on what he was there for, for the briefest of moments, the sadness in his eyes was replaced with a glimmer of happiness. His small, ephemeral smile as he focused on the bouquet in his hands tugged on her heartstrings. It was clear to her that he held an emotional attachment to those particular flowers.
Tim remembered her from every time before too, but he had been in too much of a fog to really notice her. She had been at the periphery of his mind, his focus on those days was on finding his mother’s favorite flowers and visiting her grave. But now, in that moment, his focus was on the woman standing in front of him and the kindness she had shown him.

You see– Clarke, by all means, shouldn’t exist. Everyone in her family, for as far back as they can trace, has been either an Alpha or an Omega. Never has a mere Beta sprouted on their family tree. Her Uncle Russell even insisted on a paternity test when she turned eighteen and still hadn’t presented as either, much to Abby’s unending embarrassment. All of them go on and on about it. How dare she spit on their pedigree like this!
Of course that embarrassment is Clarke's fault, it's her personal defect that keeps her from presenting.

When Kensi and Deeks see a proposal happening on the beach, Deeks decides to take a video of the moment. When he posts the video in search of the happy couple, he never expected to get a response and he certainly didn't expect the response he got.
