Summary
Three years after his run as God, Castiel leaves a small group of angels in Hannah’s care, returning to Kansas with every intention of going to the bunker. He finds himself in the small town of Colton, just passing through to gather strength, his ever-fading stolen grace weakening him slowly. Colton isn’t like other towns, however, and whispers follow him wherever he goes. A stranger confronts him, showing him a community damaged to it’s core by a God that visited and never came back; a God that disappeared into a river without a trace. Evil plagues Colton even years after Castiel’s visit, its inhabitants unwilling to come clean about what truly happened. Castiel calls upon Dean for help, finding truth in an old pile of newspapers and new faces willing to give him a second chance to make things right. A post-9.18 story.

Summary
The dead boy knows he could be confronted with any number of awful things, from demons to sinners to beings beyond his imagination.
What Charles hadn't anticipated seeing was himself.
Or his reflection, anyway. The one he hasn't seen in thirty-odd years, so unfamiliar to him that he nearly jumps at the sight of the soft slope of his mum’s nose, the concentrated furrow of his dad's brow. He recognizes some of the other fragments intrinsically, like the liner-smudged eyes that a pretty girl did up for him at his first concert, and the well-worn, pin-riddled jacket handed down to him from his friend's older brother.
But it's the sum of the parts, the lanky frame holding it all together that gives him pause — makes him lean in for a closer look. The boy in his reflection is just so real, so enticingly, unfairly life-like, that Charles can't help but reach out and touch.

Charles encounters a mirror that shows his reflection while on his mission to rescue Edwin from Hell. After realizing he can't travel through it, he moves on.
But what if he was pulled into Despair's realm instead?

Summary
Post-12.23. After Cas’ death, Dean’s left devastated. So when Mary fights her way out of the other universe with an alternate Castiel in tow, Dean’s desperate enough to start talking to him. Castiel is stubborn, judgmental, infuriating - and the best shot Dean has at getting Cas back. The conversations start as Dean’s last hope, but they soon turn into his version of catharsis.
When Cas does find his way back, he comes along with stories of his own. No sooner than he’s returned, though, new and unusual circumstances put distance between him and Dean. Moving forward together turns out to be easier said than done, and Dean’s left wondering if anything’s changed after all.
