But the thing about kids, is that they’re tiny little thieves who can be everywhere you don’t want to them be. So Byleth could hear it. As much as he professed that he was proud of her, she could still hear the way it made him uncomfortable. The cautious tone he would have when he would walk up to her and ask what she was doing whenever she stared off into space.
Where Byleth is on her second try at life and she really wants some indoor plumbing, thanks.
