Jack KornfieldTommy’s never been good at focusing or paying attention. Teachers always have had to smack his desk to get him to listen to their classes; or even smack him.
Like now; only, he just now realizes that the 2-and-a-half-hour car ride from Medicine Hat to Drumheller has seemingly ended and his social worker is shaking him back to reality in front of a white pristine house with an obnoxious (read: actually kinda cool) forest green door.
____________________________________________This is a story kinda based on mean girls where Tommy is Cady except that the plastic actually secretly keeps the peace in the school and Foolish and his friend group are the bullys. also, Tommy is a new foster kid at the crafts place and Phil is a tired dad who has no idea his adopted children are assholes and he forces them to get therapy.
and yes, there are two ocs who are main characters in this but I promise it's tasteful.(also trigger warning for someone dying and then being resuscitated and for really bad burns from coffee)

Janet Drake never wanted kids.
Janet’s parents were so insistent that she be kept in the public eye to distract from the shady doings of Drake Pharmaceuticals at the time, that she had caught the eyes of many greedy men and women. Janet was not going to allow her son to face the same wandering eyes and greedy hands. Timothy was to stay in on the weekend and before and after work hours while others are out and about, but could roam the grounds while others are at work or school.
He is to remain unseen and unknown.
Nobody knows the drakes have a child.

Prompt: Tim Drake's parents pass away when he’s young and since he’s used to surviving on his own he lives in Drake manor by himself for a few years (while stalking the bats ofc) until he needs something or has some dire info on a case that without it, Batman wouldn't be able to figure it out. I'm thinking he walks up to Wayne Manner wearing his best ratty clothes and just knocks on the door. Either Alfred or little Jason open the door and introduce Tim to Bruce. Cue interrogation, then an adoption attempt at which Tim runs away. Cat and mouse. Tiny Tim running through park row like he's a ‘street kid’. (I'm making it up as I go along)
