Summary
“I told you, I’m fine,” Jon lies despite how easy it is to tell that he’s not, clearly sick and in pain just by speaking. Martin shakes his head.
“No, you’re not! You sound awful!” Martin’s words are firm as he speaks, very worried for Jon’s health. “Why would you even come to work if you’re this sick?!”
Jon gets sick and it's Martin's job (that no one gave to him) to help care for the poor man.

“Well, I know, but we thought someone should, and I…”
“Drew the short straw?” Jon suggests drily when Martin falters at the end of his sentence.
“What? No!” Martin says, his face flushing pink all in a moment. “I nearly had to fight Tim for it, you know how he gets when someone isn’t well, but… you know. I wanted to.”
“Oh.” Jon gulps. “S-sorry, I didn’t realise.”

Or, Jon comes into work sick. His assistants send him home, and after work Martin comes to take care of him. They both have many, many Feelings about this.
