Summary
Éomer is what you might call a "Christmas decorating expert." Every year, people walk or drive by from all over town just to get a glimpse of the extravagant decorations at the Eorl house. But this year, everything seems to be going wrong. Éowyn has a new boyfriend and already has plans to spend the holidays with his family instead of at home. Then the lights won't turn on and Éomer is forced to hire an electrician to fix the problem. It's a bruise to his ego, but he has no other choice, because if he doesn't get the lights to work, then Éowyn won't come home for Christmas!
Gimli is an electrician who lost his Christmas spirit when the love of his life broke his heart. Ever since, he has spent the holiday season taking any job he can get, including one at a big old house owned by a guy who is way more handsome than he has any right to be. The over-the-top Christmas decorations are a bit of a turn-off, so Gimli is able to talk himself out of even considering it. But the season has a way of making miracles happen, including bringing two unlikely people together, helping a Scrooge rediscover his Christmas spirit, and revealing the true meaning of Christmas to those who may have lost sight of it along the way.

Summary
You lead a team of vigilantes. People with dark pasts who are ruthless and ready to dirty their hands to stop evils greater than themselves. Nick Fowler is the perfect asset: he is corrupt, has knowledge of the lower echelons of many organisations and is desperate to escape the prison where he is at the mercy of a corrupt director and his guards. When you retrieve him, the deal is simple: he must do whatever you ask, or he will be sent back to prison to rot and suffer at the hands of those waiting for him. Summary
Boromir was holding the Ring on its chain in his hand. Gold shone red under the weak sunlight, and his thumb swept over it with an odd tenderness. There was a strange light in his eyes.
“What are you going to do?” Pippin heard himself ask.
There was silence for a moment. Then Boromir laughed, sudden and loud and defiant in the still air. He turned and knelt down, and Pippin fought the urge to step back from the wild, angry joy in his face. He kept very still and did not flinch when Boromir took him by the shoulders.
“My friend,” Boromir said, the light red on his face and his eyes gleaming fey. “We are going to bring back the sun.”
Boromir takes the Ring.

Summary
Boromir survived and it didn’t change much.
He was presumed dead and given a burial, Merry and Pippin were captured, Frodo and Sam still went to Mordor alone. The world of men was at a verge of collapsing. The end was nearer and nearer as Sauron’s power grew stronger.
Then the impossible happened. A dead man appeared at Pelennor Fields, one of many, yet the only one still breathing. And he’d rather die than watch his City fall to ruin.
Or, Boromir survived and it changed everything.
