Summary
When Dan is captured after a failed attack on the Fire Lord, he expects to die mercilessly in his cell.
What the waterbender doesn't expect, is being forced to heal the Fire Lord's dying son.
There is no way Dan would ever agree to that...until his brother's life is tied to it.
With no choice left, he agrees.
Phil should be everything Dan despises and so much more– yet the longer he's forced to care for the prince, the harder it gets to remember why.
And somewhere along the way he realizes the worst part of it all...
He doesn't want Phil to die.

The timing couldn’t be worse: they’re about to begin the Terrible Influence tour, trapped in close proximity with zero chance to escape fan speculation.Or Dan and Phil drunkenly make out, get filmed, and now have to figure out what the hell that means for their supposedly platonic friendship - all while trying to survive tour life.

Summary
Phil has worked for years to get to Worlds. Losing their flyer right before the biggest competition of the season was not part of the plan.
So when Louise brings in Dan Howell — former star flyer of their biggest rival team, known for his precision and his attitude — Phil is not convinced this is going to work.
And it doesn't.
They're out of sync, out of rhythm, and completely unable to trust each other.
Until something shifts. Things start to fall into place, their routines start to click into place and they realise that cheerleading might not be the only thing connecting them.
