“Apologies my little viper, but the most peculiar thing has happened.” Her father gushes with excitement.
Though she tries to appear disinterested, Wednesday’s curiosity is peaked.
“Well, what is it?” She demands.
Her mother floats closer.
“That darling little werewolf you room with, what was her name? Evie?”
Wednesday’s heart skips a beat and she struggles to keep her face neutral. Why are they mentioning Enid? Did something happen to Enid?
“Her name is Enid. You know this Mother.”
Morticia smiles. “Ah, yes, Enid. She was just at the door. We did try to entice her in, but it would appear she found us… frightening. I thought perhaps you might go and retrieve her?”
Wednesday blinked.
“Enid… is here?”
