The Ignis War is over, and what's supposed to be the rest of Fujiki Yusaku's peaceful life begins. The VRAINS is shut down for good, the Knights of Hanoi dispersed. Yusaku's friends are all recuperating slowly but surely.
All but one. Ai is still missing, and Yusaku can't shake the feeling that something is still wrong—that something sinister is still stirring in the Network, just waiting for the right moment to pounce on the unsuspecting. His journey isn't done. There's still one final battle between AI and Humans to endure before his heart can settle...that is, if his heart can remain intact until the end.

On their way to an exclusive event in Tokyo, the Karasuno volleyball team's bus disappears. By the time they are labeled as missing, the clock to save their lives is already ticking away.
Meanwhile, the team is at the mercy of a group of desperate criminals, whose motives and methods don't seem to align. As sinister intentions slowly unravel, it's all the fourteen teenagers can do just to stay alive, stay strong, and stay together.

Those breaths were the only thing that made the sight bearable. Had he not heard them, Spock might have turned away from this nightmare and disappeared, to become a rumor, a very real myth, a dagger in the night filled with senseless fury of the kind that no Vulcans alive today had ever known. But the figure behind the bars was moving, however little, and it filled Spock with the most dangerous of emotions—hope.

[indefinite hiatus, I WILL finish this story eventually but it will probably be several years. just hadn't had the spark for it. but i promise it will get finished some day!!]
Phoenix gets kidnapped for reasons unknown to him. Staged to look like a murder, his little family finds themselves tasked with trying to get the accused murderer the guilty verdict, finding Phoenix in the process. Familial bonds are strained and strengthened as the little unit try to work together amidst very different points of view and opinions. And as the title states, General Chaos Ensues.
