It's always been enough for Leonardo that Ezio is his friend, that he is the one he trusts enough to come to for respite and peace. It's enough that he can watch the rise and fall of Ezio's chest as he sleeps and know that he is safe. Ezio's sleepy "caro mio" breaks his heart just a little each time, but it's enough.

Summary
The city of Arda is under the rule of the Knight Templar Smaug, but in the shadows hide two factions who just might be able to bring him down:
Thorin Oakenshield, Master Assassin of the Sons of Durin, has lived his life haunted by the shadow of his family’s secret and the price on his head.
Bilbo Baggins, head of the Children of Yavanna, has his own reasons for wanting Smaug dead.
The two factions have been been rivals for years, but it is only united that they might stand a chance of freeing Arda - and themselves - from Smaug’s tyranny. The fates of the city and their Orders lie in their hands… just a shame they can’t seem to spend five minutes in each other’s company without blades being drawn.

Professor Bilbo Baggins of Hobbiton College has made quite a name for himself as a scholar of Hobbit history and the relations between his own race and the others of Middle Earth. He is quite content to live out his days quietly with his books and his research, not catching anyone's attention and certainly not having any more adventures, of the heart or otherwise.
A ten-day academic conference at Erebor University might change all that.

Summary
Bilbo was going to be fired for indecency in the workplace, never mind that assassins didn’t actually have a workplace. This was so far from okay. Past the rather pressing fact that Bilbo was a hired killer and Thorin was the mayor of a city, for god’s sake, the man was probably straight anyway.
Bilbo Baggins, gun for hire, assassin extraordinaire, is contracted to kidnap Thorin Oakenshield, mayor of Erebor City. Unfortunately a figure from his past is out to get him and the operation goes a little...southwards. Involving guns, swearing, hiding in trees, inconvenient emotions and a whole lot of concealed weapons.
