Scott is a vampire on a long train ride. Abolish is a human who has mildly dubious morals if it means he stays alive. Nothing goes to plan for either of them.

He had accepted the loss, by the time he made it to Oakhurst. Had other horrors that he carried with him instead. He didn't expect to meet someone there, who seemed to hate him by his name alone.
He just wants to help.

Summary
It felt like every loop someone new betrayed her.
She'd grappled with the idea of if she could bring herself to forgive a Pyro or Owen that had not killed Avid. A few loops later Shelby was no closer to an answer and had added Martyn, Pearl, and Cleo to the list. Then Ren and Sausage, then Apo and Abolish. Doctor Legundo. Each and every one betrayed or wronged her in one of the many loops. They struggled to separate the feelings in their head towards all these different versions who they'd never get closure from and the person in front of her in that moment.
Or
Put Shelby in a timeloop that resets at dusk the day Avid dies and watch this character that was so entwined with everyone's stories lose the thing that drew people to her in her desperate efforts to save him.

Summary
Second fic for the incredibly detailed cyberpunk au, which up until now has mostly not left the private discord server it was cooked up in. I'm both delighted and so sorry for this wireplay work to be some of the first for the world's introduction to it. Let's see how much of the world building and story people can pick up from the background of this.
Legundo does repairs on the robot he finds. Everyone likes this.
