Summary
The Saja Boys (minus Jinu) have been locked out of hell by Gwi-ma as punishment for failing. On top of that, they’ve been stripped of their demon abilities and biology thanks to the Honmoon being stronger than ever. Luckily, their biggest fan, Jelly, offered himself as the Saja Boys manager in order to “keep an eye” on them for Gwi-ma.
The boys learn how to be human again and beyond the idealized personas Jinu helped them create for the band. The girls are initially panicked when the Saja Boys come back but quickly deduce that they’re now pathetic and harmless. Now it’s only a matter of convincing Celine that there is no danger.

It was supposed to be like any other Saturday, just a mediocre game of soccer shared between two extremely average elementary school teams. It would’ve gone as predictably as all of their previous state games: Grant’s father hollering football terms over the cheer of other parents, Mr. Oak trying and failing to control his kids, Nick and his dad sharing a blunt under the stands, and Terry Jr.’s weird ass step-dad handing out business cards to the opposing team for some reason. The day would’ve been punctured by a pizza lunch where the entire team would either celebrate a surprising win for the Doodlers or an “opportunity to do better next time.”
The Odyssey hits a rock, the mini-van sails off a cliff, and five children wake up alone.
For once, Grant would do anything to talk to his dad, Nick regrets not opening up to Glenn, Lark and Sparrow wish they could remember Henry’s advice, and Terry Jr. doesn’t know why he’s along for the fucking ride.

Ch. 6I don’t have many role swap fics to compare this one to, so I’m glad to say it’s one of the first I’ve read. I’m loving the changes that have been made that sound like they themselves were birthed from Anthony’s mind. I hope the author picks this back up, I’d run to it as fast as possible.

Summary
Henry has a choice to make the moment Lark stabs him. Time slows down and he gets glimpses of the future from the eyes of the Doodler. He sees all the destruction that releasing the entity will bring. In that moment he makes a decision: he will die with the Doodler inside him, splitting it apart so it won’t be strong enough to invade the world. This, however, is a moment not witnessed by anyone else, and to everyone in the room it looks as if Lark killed his father.
Or, AU where Lark stabs Henry and instead of ending the world, he ends his father’s life.
