"I mixed up with ya real bad this time... didn't I?" 'Hikaru' began, ruefully. He lowered his eyes, not wanting to see what Yoshiki's reaction would be. He just didn't have the courage. "What if you.... stop being human? Become a monster...like me?"
There was a pause, and 'Hikaru' fidgeted with the edge of his blanket.
Then Yoshiki spoke, "Is that so bad?"

Just Yoshiki and Hikaru exploring each other in that unique way of theirs. Oh, and they're in Tokyo, happy.

"Can you feel it like that?" Yoshiki asked. "My soul."
Hikaru hummed. "Somewhat. This body is a barrier though. On the other hand, if I do this-" Hikaru said, letting his index finger melt at the tip, as his true form came out, like a tendril.
Yoshiki held his breath, as the tendril snaked its way through the gap in his shirt between two buttons, and came in contact with his skin.
It felt like a lick, almost. Like a drop of cold drink spilled on his chest, except heavier.
It wasn't even that cold. But Yoshiki felt like it was sucking off his body heat.
But it was not unpleasant at all.
"Like this..." Hikaru went on, "I can feel it better. With my insides. And if I seep in through your body like this-"
Yoshiki felt the cold sensation sink deeper into his chest.
"Perfect...."

The first time Hikaru meets Ebi-chan, she runs and hides from him.
The second time, she hisses at him from the comfort of Kaoru’s lap.
The third time, she hisses at him, takes a swipe at his ankles, and retreats.
The fourth time isn’t even worth talking about.
“She’s getting braver,” Yoshiki says with an unsettling amount of optimism, holding Hikaru’s hand by the wrist as he examines the cuts Ebi-chan’s claws left. “She got ya worse than Mince-aniki ever did Hikaru.”
Or: ‘Hikaru’ faces his greatest challenge yet: trying to befriend Yoshiki and Kaoru’s new kitten.

Summary
Looking at Yoshiki the way he is right now, ‘Hikaru’ is certain he would never allow anyone else to see or do anything like this to him.
“Y'know, Yoshiki…you're mine, right? Ya wouldn't do this with anyone else?”
Something dark is laced in ‘Hikaru's’ voice, something uncanny.
“Never…don't worry. I don't think I could have what we have with…anyone.”
He swallows, knowing that there's no going back on his word.

'Hikaru' fears he will never understand the different ways humans love, but he wants to learn. Naturally, the best way to figure out his feelings is to take Yoshiki out on a date.

Summary
It’s been a long time since Yoshiki first put his hand inside Hikaru’s chest. Long enough he’s nearly forgotten about it—long enough that he’s entirely forgotten what it felt like for Hikaru to ‘touch’ ravenette back. So when it catches Yoshiki off guard when Hikaru’s replacement asks for him to do it again.
It catches him even more off guard when he offers to return the favor.
And somehow, even more so yet, when he accepts.
AKA: an excuse for me to write them ‘mixing’.
