Summary
He felt a weight on him.
It was heavy and warm and breathing. He cracked one eye open and saw a mess of brown hair shoved directly under his chin.
He was currently horizontal and thought his brain had been replaced by a bag of wet rocks. Did he bite him?
Right there, on the pale skin of Will’s neck, was a dark, unmistakable bruise. A bite mark. A fucking hickey. Mike’s stomach did that slow, nauseous flip.
Yeah, he definitely bit him. He was acting like a total animal. A carnivore.
or:
Just straight bros road-trip. Mike is a nervous wreck, gripping the wheel of a dying Volvo while trying to ignore the fact that he was losing his mind. He was still stubbornly convinced that Will Byers was undeniably straight. Will was just cool as shit. Between a gross motel and a romantic keychain, the feeling got out of hand. Mike was finally realizing he couldn't outrun the truth. -

Summary
'I had this crush on someone, even though I know they're not like me'. Will had looked straight at him, and something just clicked, like he was looking at everything with a new light flicked on. His breath had practically left his body at that point. He was talking about him.
But Will was wrong. He was like him. He just wasn't brave enough to tell him that.
'I'm ready to show him I'm not afraid anymore.' And that struck Mike like a hammer. He didn't want to be afraid of himself anymore. He wants Will to know. Badly.
Or
Will inadvertently gives Mike the courage to come out to him after years of hiding his true self.
