   Summary

   In theory, L has won. Light is imprisoned, Misa is gone, and the Death Notes are both in L's possession. The world should be safe from Kira now, right?

   L sees potential in Light, and wants him to join as an investigator, especially when a new case looks to be beyond the explanation of the human world as L had always known it - before Shinigami changed all of that.
