The silence stretches comfortably around you, only disturbed by your uneven breathing. Your own teary eyes meet Wylan’s. It suddenly feels like taking a dive into crystal clear water, playing with the cold currents, letting tiny droplets cool your warm skin. You let out a breath you didn’t even realise you were holding.
Loving Wylan feels like the ocean. Like when you’re underwater, and everything around you is muffled and so distant it becomes insignificant. Like water sloshing inside your ears, and the strong scent of salt and sand. It feels like an inherent dichotomy – like floating, weightless, and fighting against the waves. Peaceful and terrifying at the same time. His body feels like it was made to fit between your arms. His skin feels like it was made to be kissed by you. His lips feel like they were carved to whisper sweet nothings into your ear. The only times you’ve ever felt complete, have been when you were inside him, bodies fusing into one, moving together like the tides to the moon.
