"Not tonight, baby," he breathes, heavy with the effort of his restraint. He bites at your pulse. Your heartbeat thrums against his lips. He laves his tongue over it a moment later to soothe the delicious sting. "Let me take care of you."
As if he hasn't been taking care of you ever since he got home. When he stumbled upon you, so frustrated with the ache in your belly you were nearly in tears, and so afraid to try dealing with it yourself for fear of ruining his bedsheets or his towels with your period blood. When he so readily offered himself to you, prepared to do whatever you wanted to make you feel better.

"It's not about what you want, kitten." Sylus croons, his hand coming up to grip your jaw between his fingers. It forces your head to still, and your eyes lock onto his own. "It's about what you need right now." He dips his head in a kiss, almost chaste in its gentleness, followed by a sharp nip to your lip that has you keening. "And what you need," —he kisses your brow bone— "you can only get from me."
