Adora glances at the clock on the left side of her computer screen. It’s 3:05 in the morning here, which means 9 AM on her end. She can’t pinpoint exactly when this habit started, but the time conversion happens spontaneously in her brain now, without her even noticing that she’s doing it anymore.
Hands on the keyboard, she licks her lips like she's just been caught.

It’s sometime later when Waverly is jolted awake by incessant beeping. She blinks rapidly and focuses through the dark enough to grab her phone and check the time, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. It’s 3 am and Wynonna is snoring loudly next to her, her right arm thrown haphazardly across her face, and Waverly groans. A fire alarm? In the middle of her first night at her new apartment? She is just debating on whether or not to wake Wynonna so they can head outside when the alarm suddenly stops.
