Summary
When Makoto became the Great Seal, he knew that he would be paying a great price and inflicting a deep cut into the hearts of the people around him. It was painful, but necessary. He was willing to carry the burden if it meant that they could continue living fulfilling lives, even if he would never join them to see it with his own eyes.
What Makoto didn’t expect however, was that he’d be thrust back into the world of the living nearly 7 years later as a 24 year old man. Left in a world that is now both alien and familiar all at the same time, Makoto is left to regain his bearings and catch up with his relationships in a world that continued on without him.

6,000 days.
It's been 6,000 days since Minato gave his life to form the seal, keeping Nyx and Erebus from reaching each other and bringing about the Fall. As he rests in the cognitive realm around the seal, checking in on his family left behind, an unexpected visitor threatens to throw the status quo he had defended into turmoil. He should just let things stay as they are, keep the peace he had died for... but he never could keep from helping someone who asked for it.
