Summary
In the tumultuous lands of the Sword Coast, Gryhark, a half-orc of the Elk Tribe, thought his life was simple. Despite struggling with his identity, he knew his place and his role. When a skirmish threatens the lives of those he knows, Gryhark makes a decision that draws him into a conflict spanning the entire continent. Alongside his rescuer—Tamril, a mysterious bard with a hidden past—Gryhark is forced to confront a strange new world of war, intrigue, and romance alongside her and other colorful companions. In doing so, he must face the scars within himself and unveil the secrets that tied him to this conflict all along. Loosely based on the world of Dungeons & Dragons’ “Storm King’s Thunder.”
Author's note: This is my first step back into fiction-writing after nearly a decade, but I hope you'll give this slow-burn romance set at what could be the end of the world a chance <3

Summary
Jorlan Duskryn, now prisoner of the heroes of Velkynvelve, has left a trail of ash behind him. Lost in the surface world, with no home to return to, the druid Mavash tries to convince him of his bright future.
Based on the latter half of my playthrough of the "Out of the Abyss" adventure. But, like, with more feels, elf fancying, and spreading friendship across the Underdark.
While there are some inevitable spoilers, our campaign is very different from the rules-as-written module, and the focus here is more on characterization and emotion than plot, anyway. Don't be scared away if you haven't played the module!

Final chapter: "Ulin." Mavash and her companions return to the surface without Jorlan. He'd told Mavash this isn’t goodbye — but is he as good as his word? COMPLETE.
