Summary
Five years after the release of Allure comes the prequel to Allure ...
Chamille Cameron is in the employ of Pythor when she is tasked not to take on an alternate persona, but her own - with the ultimate goal of bringing the Green Ninja down by ... attending high school with Lloyd? As Chamille spends more time with Lloyd, she starts to realize he is not only the indefatigable leader of the Ninja team, but also just a teenage boy who seriously needs to branch out. Could he actually be ... cute?
Lloyd is just trying to figure out who he is after returning from Shintaro. Even though months have passed since the conclusion of the Oni invasion, and the Ninja have faced Aspheera, Unagami, and King Vangelis, Lloyd still flinches at the slightest touch, sees Morro in the shadows, hears Harumi's laugh at night, and carries a Deepstone Dagger with him everywhere. His father, Garmadon, is still missing, which is great because Lloyd doesn't want to explore his Oni side anymore. He'd cut it out if he could. When Misako makes Lloyd complete his high school degree, Lloyd finds an unexpected companion in Chamille.
Lloyd and Chamille's relationship begins here and culminates in the events that lead to Allure.

Summary
“And yet,” Jay’s voice was quiet, almost softer than the rain. “If we don’t keep cutting corners like this, Allura’s going to win."
The room was still.
“What you are suggesting,” Nya said, her rough voice shattering the silence, “would split the team.”*************************
Everyone believed the prophecy of the Golden Master had been fulfilled when the Overlord stole Lloyd’s powers, attacked New Ninjago City, and killed Zane with the aid of the Golden Power and Golden Weapons.
But what if that wasn’t the case? What if the Golden Master was still yet to come?
When Pythor builds an army of former enemies and comes after the Ninja, his second-in-command, Allura, Master of Reflection, betrays Pythor and sets off a course of events that results in a devastating loss. Consumed by grief, Lloyd Garmadon has only himself to blame. Power calls to him, and he answers in a way Kai cannot follow. The Ninja struggle to chase down Allura, deal with traitors, and handle the bitter dysfunction blooming in their own team.
In Allure, the Ninja discover the true cost of power as it wrecks their team and sends them into a bloody war amongst themselves.

Summary
This series began with "Allure," a story imagining what would happen if Lloyd chose to embrace his dark side in the pursuit of victory. But over time, the bare bones of Lloyd and Chamille's backstory which was hinted at in Allure begged to be fleshed out in "The Best Part of Believe is the Lie."
If you're wondering whether you should read "Best Part" first or "Allure," it doesn't matter. It depends on the journey you're looking for as a reader! Chronologically, "Best Part" takes place before "Allure." "Allure" was written to be a dramatic tale of good and evil, whereas "Best Part" is a slower character study that culminates in the events that kick off "Allure."

Elemental fever: a rarely seen disease which significantly reduces control of and immunity from one's own element. Usually accompanied by a high fever for multiple days.
How will the residents of the Monastery of Spinjitzu cope with an outbreak?Set after S10, mostly because I wanted them living at the monastery. Also I wanted it after the Yin-Yang promise. Not strongly linked to any canon plot.
Mediwhump for the fun of it. -

“Link! You’re hurt!”
“I’m fine, Sid—”
“In the mouth of a demon dragon? Absolutely not, you were nearly crunched!” Sidon whirls around. “Quickly! Does somebody have a healing elixir for His Majesty?”
His Majesty.
His Majesty.
And that’s when Zelda realizes—it’s not her Sidon and the Royal Guard are addressing.
It’s Link.
___
Six months after the Upheaval, a weakened and dismayed Link appears in Zora's Domain.
With no sign of Zelda, Impa follows the wish of Hyrule's previous sovereign, and names him king.
