Her best friend/roomie may have been an issue. Wednesday Addams grew up in a household where love was love, no gender or race or anything stood in the way. It didn’t help that Wednesday herself never truly felt the need to love, platonic or romantic, another until Enid.

Wednesday watches as the auctioneer pulls Sunshine by the chain leash attached to her collar off of the stage. Her dark eyes meet tear-filled blues and she is angry, wanting to take the blonde away from the auction house as soon as possible. Her hands tighten into fists, jaw clenching in rage.
Her mind buzzes with a million thoughts. She's never felt anything like this before, and she doesn't quite understand what it is. But she knows one thing for sure - she can't just leave the girl in the hands of someone who may mistreat her.
"Mother." Wednesday begins, her tone laced with displeasure. "I would like to take Sunshine home. Right now."

Wednesday would win Enid’s true love, she decided, or she would die trying.
