Summary
A mysterious group, calling themselves the Council, have grown sick of the hostility towards non-humans, and have decided to fight back. Gem and Pearl, along with sixteen others, have been called to a sort of summer program meant to train them to fight crime in the city and prove to the world that they aren’t like their ancestors. Though, history does have a tendency to repeat itself.
Meanwhile, Pearl is struggling with feelings for the girl who hates her guts, and Gem is struggling with pride, forgiveness, and eventually, feelings of her own.

Cherri and Apo have returned to Soluna after their stay in the red kingdom. Cherri still refusing to accept any (mid) suitor King Ren offers her ends up being forced to marry a prince she's never met. Cherri has to plot to ruin her own wedding, along with Apo, who is struggling with her feelings for Cherri.
