Visions are a curse.
Such a claim is bound to turn heads—afterall, they're viewed as blessings from the gods. Only a miscreant would call such a wondrous gift a 'curse'.
But Tomo knew better. He saw the people around him gaining visions left and right, and they changed. They forgot about old promises and chased new dreams, leaving behind all their old ones.
And when they lost them, they lost everything.
Tomo detested change. Perhaps a little too much. That very hatred was bound to be his downfall.

“Can I help you?” Cyno asked, thankful to the Archons that his voice was kept steady, despite the quiver he felt in his fingers.
“We got off on the wrong start. I just wanted to apologize.”
“Excuse me?”
“It’s been a bit of a rough morning for me. I didn’t mean to snap at you just for doing your job.”
“Oh,” Was Cyno’s in-depth, intelligent response to Tighnari’s apology.
Tighnari smiled. There was a kindness in his eyes that made his eyes glitter like morning dew along the grass. Has Cyno always been such a poet?
In Cyno's final year of his master's programme, he meets someone that quite literally changes the trajectory of his semester - the only problem is, he's not interested in Cyno like that. With it, he learns all too many things, and sometimes, he wishes he didn't learn anything at all. Will Cyno manage to end his year with a bang (literally)?

As his thoughts wandered, doubts beginning to eat him whole, he finally notices just who Cyno was sitting with.
Abruptly, the itch in his chest turns into something visceral, a cough that claws its way out of Tighnari’s throat. Everything closes up as he struggles to catch his breath, taking in ragged gasps through the part of his lips.
Tighnari coughs up a single flower one day - and everything spirals out of control from there.
