Summary
Visions are a curse.
Such a claim is bound to turn heads—afterall, they're viewed as blessings from the gods. Only a miscreant would call such a wondrous gift a 'curse'.
But Tomo knew better. He saw the people around him gaining visions left and right, and they changed. They forgot about old promises and chased new dreams, leaving behind all their old ones.
And when they lost them, they lost everything.
Tomo detested change. Perhaps a little too much. That very hatred was bound to be his downfall.
___________________________________Or; a story about how Tomo receives his vision, and battles with the very fate trying to lead him to an early grave.

“We got off on the wrong start. I just wanted to apologize.”

“It’s been a bit of a rough morning for me. I didn’t mean to snap at you just for doing your job.”
“Oh,” Was Cyno’s in-depth, intelligent response to Tighnari’s apology.
Tighnari smiled. There was a kindness in his eyes that made his eyes glitter like morning dew along the grass. Has Cyno always been such a poet?
In Cyno's final year of his master's programme, he meets someone that quite literally changes the trajectory of his semester - the only problem is, he's not interested in Cyno like that. With it, he learns all too many things, and sometimes, he wishes he didn't learn anything at all. Will Cyno manage to end his year with a bang (literally)?

Summary
Has Cyno ever looked at him with such glee?
As his thoughts wandered, doubts beginning to eat him whole, he finally notices just who Cyno was sitting with.
Abruptly, the itch in his chest turns into something visceral, a cough that claws its way out of Tighnari’s throat. Everything closes up as he struggles to catch his breath, taking in ragged gasps through the part of his lips.
Tighnari coughs up a single flower one day - and everything spirals out of control from there.

Summary
Even lesser Gods were still just that- Gods.
It was the lesson he impressed on every interloper that dared to step foot into his domain. And this one would be no different. They approach without reverence or veneration, simply stepping languidly through the brush, their long robes leaving a trail in their wake.
The deity expects a fight. Expects this person to lash out with some tool the way humans always do. He expects to tear the flesh from its bones and be done with it. Yet he could have never expected the way this tiny human kneels, pressing their forehead to the forest floor, whispering into the leaves, “Why do foxes hunt rabbits?” A pause, “Because of their affinity for…fast food.”
….was this strange being casting a spell?

Five times Tighnari's and Cyno's hands touch and one time they don’t, but not necessarily in that order.
Tighnari’s eyes widen and his ears perk up in surprise. He looks at Cyno, then at their joined hands, then back up at Cyno. His mouth hangs open, as if he’s getting ready to say something. Cyno, suddenly feeling self-conscious, is about to retreat—and perhaps apologize—when Tighnari turns his hand under Cyno’s, bringing them palm to palm, and intertwines their fingers.

Summary
Every year, Tighnari disappears for two weeks. He doesn't tell anyone where he is going, or why, and whoever dares to ask him about it is silenced with a pointed glare. This year, Cyno runs into him by accident.
Even from the distance Cyno can see the dilation of Tighnari’s pupils, the flush creeping all the way down Tighnari’s neck. Vaguely he registers that Tighnari is not wearing his usual ranger outfit but loose-fitting white robes instead, bound around his waist but slipping off his shoulders, showing more skin than they’re hiding. Tighnari’s hair is matted with sweat, sticking to his skin.

Summary
Tighnari snickers. “Sorry, sorry.” He reaches out and runs a hand through Cyno’s hair, cooing, “You’re a very good boy, too. Better?”
What he’s expecting is Cyno to pull away with a huff, rolling his eyes. What he gets, though, is much more interesting.
Cyno’s breath hitches, his eyes widening a fraction, and it’s as if he’s stuck looking at Tighnari, confused, before he snaps himself out of it and pulls away. Can’t quite look Tighnari in the eye as he responds with, “That isn’t necessary,” a beat too late and voice wavering a little too much at its edges.
Tighnari cocks his head to the side, gaze sharpening. Oh. Interesting.
Now this bears further examination.

Summary
It had started in the most absurd way possible; humoring the Oni despite the soaking rain. Now it had grown into an emerging incident Ayato needed to think through before it became unmanageable.
Between a war-torn nation and violent power grabs between clans, Kamisato Ayato finds himself becoming attached to a certain wild spirited Oni. He can only blame himself for returning to Ritou often enough to form the growing unexpected bond between them, but he didn't expect Itto's personality to mesh so well with his own sadistic urges upon their meeting.
So much changed right under his nose. Those blindspots would get them both killed if Ayato wasn't careful. Pursuit of desire may cloud more than only his judgment in the end.
But Ayato had accomplished far greater feats before. Though, with how Oni were viewed within Inazuman society and the future objections to the lack of the Yashiro Commission having a direct heir from him in the Kamisato clan would both make it a great challenge, he was determined to bend decorum to his will to gain Itto by his side. And squirming under his boot.

Upon the revelation that Cyno is, in fact, the inheritor of the bloodline of a species that is close to extinction in Sumeru, he finds himself wrapped up in an Amurta 'conservation' project-- one that indicates that the only scholar he truly trusts, Tighnari, is the most suitable match to produce an heir that will primarily inherit the features of that near-dead race.
Their journey of surrogacy is a rocky one, but hardly miserable. If nothing else, they have each other.
