You sighed and leaned against the sink. “Well... Good thing I wasn’t alone.”
The way she lowered her face, as if she wanted to hide from your attention, was fascinating. For someone like her, who didn’t hesitate to return to danger to help another person, another player already condemned, it was curious how she seemed so shy now—with something as trivial as a thank you.
The sound of the door opening was enough to snap you out of your stupor. You tossed a few wet strands of hair back, then gave one last glance at the lovely woman beside you.
“I hope to keep seeing you around, player 120.”
