“Excuse me?”
“With your permission, I want to break you. I want to take you apart, piece by piece, and take everything you have to give, then take just a bit more.” Tav sat closer, his hand trailing across Gale’s shoulder blades, sending trails of electricity over his skin.
“Please, gods” Gale choked on the aborted noise, it wasn’t quite a word, but Tav heard him anyway. Tav moved in closer, pressing his lips to Gale’s pulse as he nearly whispered his desires. His hands wandered lower, one supporting his back while the other tangled in his folded hands.
“Your goddess can’t protect you from me,” Tav snarled, teeth pulling threateningly at his earring before continuing back down his neck, “and my god wouldn’t take away my toy.”

"Ezio!" Tiny fingers tugged on his larger ones. "I can't see anything. Pull me up." It still amused him how this boy of ten could be so demanding. Gian or as Leonardo had now dubbed him, Salaì, looked straight, held against his chest, their focus on the duca and soon to be duchessa of Milano.
"Ezio?" Salaì interrupted when the couple began their vows.
"Shh..."
For the first time Salaì's voice was curious, hesitant rather than demanding. "Do you ever wish you could do the same with maestro? Marry him?"
Ezio couldn't help his smile. Without realising it, his hand went up to the string around his neck, fingers twirling the golden disk threaded in it. When he looked up into the crowd, he found Leonardo's eyes locked on his, his fingers rubbing the beads wrapped around his wrist, that small but genuine smile on his face that still made Ezio's heart throb. He chuckled. Leonardo was completely oblivious to the wedding he was supposed to be in charge of.
Not averting his gaze from Leonardo's, Ezio quietly replied, "No. We don't need anything like this."
A story of how Ezio and Leonardo kept the promises they never made.
