Shen Jiu returns to his body after the 'impostor' who wore his skin gets hit with 'Without a Cure'. With no cultivation left and a heavy heart, Shen Jiu leaves the Cang Qiong mountain, leaving distraught peak lords, stressed hall masters and weeping disciples.
Leaving behind the suffocating life, he roams the mortal world, trying to find reason while the sect he had abandoned tries to get him to return.
