Summary
Dumb though it had been, Lex has use for a thing as powerful as Ultraman. It had almost beaten Metropolis’ golden boy when they’d gone toe-to-toe, and Lex can only imagine the damage that Ultraman could cause if given a second round with Superman. Of course, that’s all he’s going to be doing––imagining––unless he can retrieve the clone from his pocket dimension.

Clark squeezes his eyes shut. "Lex Luthor cloned me," he says. "His name is Ultraman. When I couldn't save myself, I saved him. And- and he's like me, but he's broken. And scared, and confused. I think he could use your help."

Clark sacrifices himself to save Ultraman, and he comes back different; a ghost who only Ultraman can see. It turns their worlds upside-down.
