“We should let him go, I quite enjoyed the chase he gave us.” Siren said, as if this situation was a simple game. A game. This is his life! Out of anger he started thrashing, struggling to get out of the iron grip Siren had on him.

“Relax” was the only thing siren had to say to stop his struggles. The words wrapped around his mind and fought their way into his brain, until he had no choice but to unwillingly slump into siren’s mind control.

“We can’t let him go, that’s too much of a hassle.” Angel said, stepping closer to tubbo. “He’s not worth it.”

Tubbo wanted to run. To leave. He wasn’t the brave one, that was Tommy! He couldn’t do this- he was going to die- he-

“He’s spiraling. Honestly, by the way he acts you’d think he’s a child! Pathetic.”

“Let’s just get this over with, we have more important matters to be dealing with then a small town vigilante.” Blade said, drawing a dagger and putting it to Tubbo’s neck.

    Summary

    “Be my apprentice,” Icarus blurted.

Tommy blinked. Gradually, the corners of his mouth dropped into the deepest frown he’d ever made. “What the fuck? Why?”

“Why?” Icarus froze and Tommy raised a judgemental eyebrow. “It’s because of your powers.”

“My powers,” he echoed. “I never told you whether or not I had powers.”

“I can… sense them,” Icarus bullshitted. Tommy pinched the bridge of his nose.

“Right. What are they, then,” he retorted.

“Uh… super… powers,” the villain answered, sounding more unsure of himself by the second.

Tommy wanted to bash his head against a wall. “Really? That’s the best you could do?”

    ------

Tommy isn’t sure why handing someone their keys is such a big deal, but now he’s left with a huge problem: Every supervillain in the city wants him to be their apprentice!

Tommy’s lame superpower turns out to be a game-changer.
