Your little corner of paradise is your shop. It is newly up and running in a cozy two-story building, nestled into a line of terraced buildings in downtown Moonpetal Valley. The city itself is new to you. Loud, bustling, and crowded; it's a far cry from the small town you grew up in, but it's far from an unwelcome change. The farther you can get from your old home, your old life, the better.
The symbols on the back of your right hand have been glowing since you arrived in the city. If they were visible to anyone but you, it would seem like a tattoo; you wish that was all it was, rather than a glorified mood ring for some stranger.
No, unfortunately, it is your soul mark. Like everyone else, upon coming of age, yours had painlessly etched itself into your skin. Unlike everyone else, however, you seemed to have three overlapping marks. You had only realized this upon your arrival in the city, when each symbol (a sun, a moon, and what seemed to be... an eclipse?) began to change colors individually. How lucky for you; not one mysterious, random stranger, but three.
You wish it had never started glowing.
