He's looking at his feet, because he hasn't quite come to terms with the fact that he's saying this in a room where other people, strangers, can hear it.
But this is still the first time he's said it this way: out loud, in a declarative sentence. Being nervous is fine. Frank said that being nervous is fine, and Buck just said he's proud, and the only thought Eddie has in his head is that it's embarrassing he can't raise his head and say it like a man, so clearly, he's going to need to hang on to other people's words for the time being, someone who isn't his dad trying to explain the ways Eddie's allowed to inhabit the world.
He doesn't need to ask anyone's permission to be who he is. That's also a thing Frank said.
in which eddie attends a self-empowerment group for gbtq men to supplement his therapy, and is empowered to: forgive himself, say "i'm gay" to his own reflection in the mirror, accidentally adopt an adult, make fried rice, and tell his straight best friend that he's in love with him. not necessarily in that order.

Ohhh, David realises as he gets handed a plate. Okay, I got it. He was surprised that Bobby’s son hadn’t come up when Michael first mentioned his children given how much emphasis he put on the positive co-parenting relationship their family unit strived to maintain. But then again – Buck was obviously much older than Michael and Athena’s two children if he had a child the same age as Harry. The step/co-parenting dynamic would clearly be completely different than it was with May and Harry.

The one where David is determined to prove that he’s in it with Michael for the long-haul, and that includes accepting and caring about the children of the Grant-Nash household. All 3 of them.

"That's great Pete" Then they had fun that night. Peter really enjoyed how his life worked. He spends time with Ben and May, the family that he was given, which he absolutely loved and enjoyed, and on the weekends he spends time with Pepper and Tony, the family that he chose, which he also loved. And boy does he know that both families love him. Yeah, his parents did die, but it wasn't like he didn't have parental figures in his life, and he still loved the few memories of them. His life was great.

In a world where Ben doesn't die and Peter life is pretty great, Peter has to deal with the death of May Parker and the problems it brought

It’s insane. Absolutely ridiculous, laughable, asinine, any adjective you could come up with in the book, that this is what it takes for Tony to open the phone and hit that button.
After almost a year, Tony finally calls him.
But it’s just because if he doesn’t, he really thinks he might kill a man in cold blood.
“Tony?” comes the confused, hesitant but still infuriatingly polite voice of Steve Rogers on the other end, and for a second, one split second, Tony considers hanging up.
“Tony, don't hang up. You called me, talk to me. What’s going on?” Steve presses, annoyingly gentle and all knowing like he always is, and it’s so normal that Tony just spits it out.
“I need you to either talk me down from committing murder or help me.”
During the summer of 2017, Steve and Tony reevaluate past mistakes.
