Summary
Mikey had spent his entire childhood believing he only had one older brother. After an unlikely encounter turns his world upside down, he soon discovers a world—and a family, by extension—that's been hidden underneath his feet the whole time, and he's determined to reach out and make sense of it all.
As it turns out, Donnie is just as desperate to connect with his lost family on the other side of things; all in spite of both his and Mikey's respective older brothers not wanting them to.

Summary
After the Kraang invasion, the Hamato Family is desperately trying to heal. Both emotionally and physically. While Donnie watches and assists his injured brothers, his body starts to fight against him. Donnie doesn't want to take the care away from his brothers, so he keeps it to himself, ultimately making everything worse.
(This fic is basically me projecting my fibromyalgia onto Donnie and seeing where it takes me.)
This is my first time writing fan fiction! I've been a writer for years, but never shared my work, so honestly, I don't know if I'm all that great at it. Critiques are welcome, just be nice about it, please :)

" The henchman pinning Leo nods, grabbing the book they’d tried so hard to get from Leo’s bag, raising his spear above the slider’s head. Leo’s eyes widen, but he doesn’t move much other than weakly struggling in the hold. Donnie doesn’t think he can. But Donnie screams anyway. He begs. Desperation sparks, twisting and pulling at him. Donnie feels himself tearing at the seams, everything falling apart, every last end burned and buried.
“Please! Please don’t do this— Leonardo, get up— “
Leo looks at him, he closes his eyes. His jaw is set in a firm line, but Donnie can see the way it trembles. He’s terrified.
The spear drives down fast, a blur of metal before there’s a loud cracking noise, more blood being shed. It spills in a brilliant shade of red, and he feels sick.
No—
Donnie screams
— Would you like to try again? "
OR
After once again pissing off Witch Town, Donnie gets stuck in a time loop. It doesn’t help that Leo keeps dying.
With so many unknowns and more questions arising with every answer, Donnie wonders if he’ll ever make it past this week, and if it’s really worth healing from silent wounds.

Donnie sighed, shoving his hands into the pockets of his leather jacket. Perhaps he was starting to regret his choice, but it was too late to go back now. “Yes, actually. Do you want to come?”
Leo’s eyes lit up, mischievous in the way Donnie rarely saw these days. Since he had recovered from his injuries and returned to patrolling, Leo had fallen into his role as leader well. He rarely had the opportunity to let loose anymore, and that was precisely what Donnie was relying on for this mission.
He knew Leo would be willing to do just about anything to let off some steam.
