Bucky Barnes meets Peter Parker by chance after he breaks into his apartment.
Peter is fully suited in seconds. He still looks hesitant to step out. “Mr—uh, Bucky?”
“Yeah?”
“Thank you so much. Really. I would’ve been here agonizing for hours while the healing factor did its thing, but you really sped it up! Not even sped it, just, absolutely killed the healing. Killed. I think that’s the wrong word, but, anyways, thank you a lot. If you need anything at all—any surveillance help, my suit has like, stealth mode, and I’m really good at these types of missions. Just saying. Okay?”

Summary
Cole, Nya, and Lloyd go save Jay and try to get the poison to slow down Nadakhan after weeks of being stuck planning. They've all been antsy, not sure if Jay was okay, Cole especially. Jay is his best friend after all.
Cole tries to poison Nadakhan's drink, but he finds Jay instead. Jay who is in terrible shape. He tried to escape with him, but they get caught and have to walk the plank. Many things lead another, and Cole is inside the Djinn Blade with Lloyd.
He hopes Jay is okay.

Jay explains the torture Nadakhan forced him to endure, including the skills he picked up in Scrap N' Tap. The two talk things out, healing their rifted relationship and finding themselves stronger for each other's support.

“You’ll feel better once you’ve gotten it off your chest,” Cole spoke softly, “and don’t think you can lie to me, I know you too well.”
For the first time, Jay looked at him. It was almost instant, yet he didn’t seem better. The slight fear and pain in his eyes sent a shock through Cole’s chest, his hand removing itself from Jay’s shoulder. Jay pursed his lips slightly, his eyes welling with tears.
What the hell had happened in that alternate timeline?

Cole notices how weird Jay has been acting lately and wants to know what's wrong. Jay doesn't want to talk about it though.
