Summary
People have been taking Sora's upbeat demeanor at face value since the beginning of his adventures. He likes it this way. He likes that people talk to him, and they leave the conversation feeling happier than when it started. It's one of the only things he actually admires about himself. But, lately, he's been more rough, more easily angered, than ever before. He can't tell if this has been going on for a long time or if it's a sudden change, but he knows that the feelings he's been pushing back are now threatening to overwhelm him.
He's been putting his own emotions on the back burner for so long, and now he has no idea who to or how to ask for help. He doesn't want to burden his friends, especially with a keyblade war on the horizon. But he's about to encounter even more strain.
An organization member is trailing him as he tries to find the power of waking, his anti-form is changing more and more as he uses it, and he's also starting to struggle with his own identity in the middle of his mission. He thinks continuing to ignore it all will help.
But everyone has their breaking point.
