“No.” Dick shook his head emphatically with a grin pasted on his face. Peter raised a brow. “Fine. Allegedly, Nick Halden participated in the not so legal sale of a few paintings”
“So you have some connections in Gotham, are any of them active.”
“Uhh,” Dick waved his hand in a so-so motion, “not too many of them would react well to me reappearing.” That part was true, Dick had left for a reason, people in Gotham wouldn’t be happy to see him again.
Or, Dick Grayson has been living as Neal Caffrey for the last few years. On the run from his past, trying to figure out his future, while more and more Gotham cases make their way into New York.

Summary
A year after the Trigon incident, Ra's gives Dick the ultimatum. Return to the League of Shadows or be brought back by force. Unwilling to risk the lives of his friends and family, Dick erases all the computerized trails of his existence. Then he disappears, a ghost to everyone who knew him.
Two years later, Neal Caffery appears on the White Collar scene. Peter knows there's something different about the man. So when he catches Neal Caffery almost three and a half years later he offers a deal. Four years as a criminal informant in lieu of jail time. Neal accepts and it starts a new life for both the man and his handler.

Neal (Dick Greyson) has to attend a presentation on a group white collar is helping organized crime take down. Unfortunately, the Malones are part of the presentation and Noah Malone (Dick(Neal)) is definitely in it and the picture they’re painting of his alias isn’t flattering at all.
"Noah, as an alias, was never supposed to be used long term. He was a long term cover of course, but he wasn’t meant to exist 24/7. He was shocking and terrifying. He was meant to come in and overwhelm whatever enemy’s plan they were trying to uncover, then flit away into the background. Noah was the allusive monster his more involved siblings, like Jason, used to form and motivate their own identities. He was the ripcord you pulled to add some shock and awe, not a daily occurrence."
OR: Dick tries to keep his identities straight and secret after the team finds out about his Malone alias. The stress and the amount of identities he is juggling leads to a breakdown.
